Sosa

Sosa or chief keef is one of the predominate rappers now days. His single bitches love Sosa is one of the top songs right now and a personal favorite. If you don't like his music at least you have to know that he is a badass, he's been in jail numerous times beginning when he was 17. I like his music and respect that he backs up what he says. He's not a fake rapper that I know for sure.

Radio head

Radio head is a world wide known band with their hit single creep. I think they have some talent but I don't really care to listen to their music. I just can't get into it, thom yorkes voice just doesn't catch my attention. They have the history to prove me wrong with all their achievements but I just can't get into it myself

RHCP

After seeing the red hot chili peppers at acl, I really began to like than more. At first I was kinda skeptic and didnt really care to listen to them but now I can enjoy some of their music. With 80 million records worldwide and 7 grammy awards they are nothing but rediculous.

avicii

ranked number 3 on top 100 djs, if that doesnt say it all then i dont know what does. He is an amazing dj, one of my favorites. Seeing him at acl one of the most best shows ive ever seen. His feel for the genre is insane, I dont know a song of his that I cant dance and go crazy to. Hes one the best, levels has really made avicii get popular.

lil wayne

One of the most recognized rappers today, his album Carter III is still one of the best to this day. It sold 1million copies in the first week just in the United States. Hes got the typical rapper look but he incorporates a skater persona into it. I respect him for his success but I think his music is just mediocre. He makes really good beats but when he raps it just doesn't sound crisp and clean.

pearl jam

Pearl jam is an interesting band. Very talented and one of the best of its time in my opinion. Known worldwide as one of the influential bands of its era. I personally think they have incredible talent and they fuck shit up. Whats not to like.

nirvana

Nirvana has had influence on so many of the rock bands that we know today. They have had so much success, over 75 million records worldwide. They had  some problems though, there singer/guitarist kurt Cobain killed himself and that kind of set back them for a while. But I do like their music and I think they had major impacts on alot of the rock bands that are popular today.

kid cudi

Kid cudi is one of the best rappers of his era. He has sold over 4.6 million digital copies world wide and worked with some of the best rappers there are. He is probably my favorite rapper because he has so many good qualities to him. He can do it all sing, rap, record etc. He's defiantly one of the better rappers right now.

Justin Timberlake

Justin is probably the most extravagant man in the world. He is defiantly the best entertainer, he has major achievements in music and acting. His new album is literally insane and I don't think anyone can say they don't like it. Jt is absolutely insane.

Public enemy

The rap group has made many achievements in the rap game. I personally do not like their music, the lyrics are just short of retarded in my opinion. They just yell, I just can't handle them. Some people might enjoy people just yelling at then for 3 minutes straight but that's not me.

blues brothers

Well known from all their Saturday nigh live musical sketches, the blues brothers are a mix of comedy and musical talent/dance. They made their film "The blue brothers" in 1980 and it was a huge hit. They are a great combination together and they are an audience favorite. Although they do make people laugh you cant sell them short on their musical talent.

drake

The canadian rapper went from television with degrassi to rapping with young money records. He is an iconic figure in the rap world today. He has 5 million records worldwide, and tons of awards. He has great vocals, and his lyrics are meaninful which is why i think he gets so much credit for his music. I think he is a great artist, I cant find a reason to dislike him.

Zomboy

Zomboy is one of the most creative and talented electronic/dubstep musicians today and is one of my personal favorites. His style is defiantly upbeat and more rave like. Kind of ironic he was caught for plagiarism in 2012, he stole someones song off of soundcloud and called it his own. So he got copyright infringement and he payed for it.

U2

U2 is one of the best rock bands in history. They have some sold million and millions of albums worldwide, and have won 22 grammys. Thats the most out of any band out there. I personally love U2, I think bono is an amazing vocalist and the whole band has incredible talent. They sync like no other band out there.

kendrick lamar

Kendrick Lamar is one of most famous rap artist of this decade. A majority of his songs make the top 40 list. His album good kid, m.A.A.d city was a huge accomplishment in 2012. He is an iconic figure in the rap industry and I enjoy listening to his music. When he performs live is even better, at sxsw I saw him and it was insane. One of the most fun concerts Ive ever been to.

michael jackson

Michael is a legend, he revolutioned music in his era. His combination of singing and dance was rediculous. His album thriller is the best selling album of all time. That album sold more than 200 million copies world wide. He is one of the only artists to make the rock and roll hall of fame twice. His achivements kind of just say everything about him as an artist. I dont really know how I feel about his music. Its defiantly good, Im just not crazy about it.

doctor p

Doctor p is one of the most recongized mixers in dubster today. He is one of the best and I personally love his music. He has a bass heavy style of dubstep with some crazy beats. I wish I could see him in concert to get a feel for how crazy it gets when the bass is blowing your head off.

Earth wind and fire

Earth wind and fire are just weird to me. Their music is good or it's era and will always be a classic but that doesn't mean thy fit in the in the 2013 era. September was a big hit and still is great song of theirs. But back to my point f hen being a bit weird. They have a style which to me is just odd. It's not like your typical hippy, it's something about them that sticks out to me and is weird. I don't know, I like their music but the way they portray themselves is uneasy to me. I guess.

the police

The Police brought bristling energy and musical sophistication to the New Wave movement. They were among the first post-punk success stories, applying the succinct and speedy strictures of that genre to more challenging material that appealed to listeners of all ages and musical persuasions. They are very interesting to listen to and give their audiences something new.

black key el camino

It is a formula, one with a few basic ingredients: rhythm, attitude, melody, volume and an undying belief in freedom through a few well-chosen chords. Why make it any more complicated than that?
The Black Keys are serious about this, and on their seventh record, “El Camino,” prove it with 11 songs about love, lust, greed, desire, helplessness, heartbreak, or some combination thereof. They will never be a band whose gigs can irrevocably change you inside, but the Black Keys are really good and a lot of fun.

Bravery

As I am on the bus riding down to college station for our playoff game all I want to do is nap hard. So who do I turn to, uh duh the bravery. Great band, I love there music. It's very soothing and relaxed, perfect for napping haha. They might be like the typical alternative band but I mean the one word I think of when I think of them is bad ass. Prove me wrong I dare you.

Stevie wonder

After listening to Stevie wonder it makes me appreciate how talented this man really was. He can put together a piece of amazing music with a blink of an eye. He has a feel for muac and really has a passion for it. I honestly like his music for that very reason. I think he has rediculous vocals and is a great musician.

Frank ocean

R&B singer Ocean, an Odd Future member who has worked with Beyonce, Kanye West  and Jay-Z. He is a very artist and I think his music is very good. He uses many different styles of music and incorporates them in his r&b/ rap music. He is one of my favorites and I enjoy listening to his music.

david bowie

David Bowie is widely regarded as one of the most influential writers of pop music. Born David Jones, he changed his name to Bowie in the 1960s. I enjoyed the music personally, at least what you showed us. Hes a very good lyricist and knows how to make his audience attentive. I like his music and think hes a very good musician.

rick ross god forgives, I dont

Although much of what he raps about seems to be a fabricated, fanciful lifestyle, it's clear that Ross has raw, undeniable talent; and enough confidence to show us how "bawse" he is, or claims to be. After dropping his mixtape, Rich Forever, which some regard as the best rap of the year, he's back this summer with the highly anticipated album God Forgives, I Don't. This album was one of his best, I think. He has some big hits in this album and usually rick ross wouldnt be one of my favorite rappers but he really did something good with this album.

2 chainz

The first things to know about the Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz are that he’s not a very good lyricist, his flow is a little clumsy and his phrasing is monotonous. A purveyor of a hip-hop subgenre known as trap music, which is typified by sparse but hard beats, synth clusters and frantic high-hat rhythms, 2 Chainz has a distinctive style that values bounce over brains, is created for clubs and not hipsters, and conveys its message simply and unapologetically. But you still have to give credit to him for being such a big icon in the rap industry.

mt eden

Mt Eden (aside from being a rather large hill in Auckland, New Zealand) is the stage name for Jesse Cooper, who takes his name from his home town, Mt Eden. I think he has a interesting way of mixing his music. Its alot of relaxing, chill dubstep i guess you could say. I enjoy him here is one of his songs.

zep 2

This album is the amazing follow up to their great debut album Led Zeppelin I. This album doesn't have as many blues influenced songs, it has more hardrocker songs. Also, this album includes John Bonham's epic drum solo, Moby Dick. Jimmy Page adds some amazing guitar solo, that make thw album even greater. Each member of the band contributes to the album, which is why I think it is such a great album. This is also a great album to start with, if you want to start listening to Led Zeppelin. I think this album is just a little better than Led Zeppelin I.

Man on the moon

As a solo artist, well... his second full-length, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager manages to render the jury still out. His 2009 debut, Man on the Moon: The End of the Day, was a modest commercial success but a mortifying creative face-plant, a compilation of the most two-dimensional art-school-kid clichés imaginable, over unrelievedly monotonous electro tracks. It was hard to find a more self-satisfied and less likable pop record that year.

Ripremix

Rip remix was a good movie. It shows the perspective of a artist that's music is getting "stolen". I think that if they show it from another perspective it would be more convincing. I myself will go download a song and not feel bad. To me I'm this society today that isn't stealing there music. It's almost like advertisement to me. If I hear a song I like I might go get the album or go see them.
